The Great Wall in China.

                                     The great wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was listed as a world Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. Great wall built because of first Enperor Qin Shi Hung wanted a much better barricade to his people from the Mongols (the invaders) to the north. He ordered that a single strong wall is to be build with thousand s of looked towers where the soldiers could guard and protect his empire.It was begun in the reign of Emperor Qin Shi and it was finished toward the end of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)it took a total of 276 years to build.(which equals to over 2 centuries)

                                       The great wall was made with mortar and stone. The workers were either farmers, slaves or peasants. They would work all day and get no rest. This great wall of china called the longest cemetery on earth because so many people died building the great wall of china,more than one million people died. It's length is 21,196,18 km.it crosses a 9 provinces and municipalities. The highest point of the great wall of china is in Belgium at Heida mountain it is  1,534 meters high. The lowest point is at Laologtou and it is at sea level.

                                          The form of the great wall of china is rectangular walls with a pathway between the Walls, with towers which connect the Walls. The great wall of china has western section, a long chain of watchtowers because provided defense for those that are traveling on the road.the great wall of China called the "Wanli Changcheng" or long wall in China. This is the longest man man made structure.three Chinese men were the first to walk the whole great wall.it took from may 1984 to September 1985. The adventure took 508 days.
